Insulation around windows/door

Does anyone have suggestions for removing and replacing the insulation around door and windows. We have a 1972 Argosy. I attempted some this spring/summer, but I have obviously done a poor job, as some of the insulation is coming off and not sticking. I have looked at doing the big front and rear windows, but the insulation on there is really hard to get off.. any tips? I do have some of the insulation strips left that a trailer dealer sold me last fall. Thanks, Wade in STRATFORD Ont. (It is snowing here UGH!)

Take the gaskets off with a razor knife. Go to an auto parts store and get a can of gasket adhesive remover. Apply the remover several times and scrub with a rough cloth and keep scraping with the razor blade. Get a tube of gasket adhesive (auto parts store) and follow the instructions.

Post a photo of the gasket and where you are applying it - you'll get more help.
