Help a girl caulk a fridge vent

So the problem is our 9 caravel and her leaky fridge vent. I climbed up there this evening and I caulked around the vent but I think the leak is coming from the parts inside the vent. I couldn't really reach inside with the caulk gun, but I can try tomorrow with another tactic...advice would be great!

Hi! What are using using to seal the fridge vent? Did you clear all of the old sealing material off?

caulking hard to reach areas

I do architectural sheet metal and what I do at work when I have a hard to reach place to caulk that a caulking gun won't fit into is:
1. put a blob on my finger and smear it in.
2. put a piece of vinyl tubing as a extension nozzle on the end of the tube or 3. use a syringe if I need a fine line
Hope this helps.

Caulking the vent

It did not have caulk there before. I did try putting some on my finger and reaching over vent and down but that didn't go so well. I am going to try the syringe trick today. Thanks for both of your advice!

Please be sure to use Vulkem/Trempro 625 or 626.
