Front Window leaks when towed in rain only

Has anybody out there ever had a water leak at the frt. window only when being towed in the rain ? I have a 2005 28 ft. Safari that I bought new in 2004. The first time I towed in the rain I got few drops on the frt. window screen , the longer I tow in the rain the more water until the shelf below gets wet. I had it back to Jackson Center twice and they sealed the upper rock guard strip bracket and screws. Each time it leak test good, but the next time I tow in the rain it leaks . This summer I took the rock guard off and reset the strip bracket in windshield bedding, but on my last trip it rained and it leaked. Anybody has any ideas on howto fix it let me know.

Have you checked the gasket over carefully? Is the window closing firmly against it all the way around?

Welcome to forums... and leaks are always a challenge on anything with tires.

Have you tried putting someone outside with a garden hose and spray the front window (to simulate the force of air when being towed)... while you look for leaks inside the airstream?

Yes , I have sprayed it with a hose with the wife inside, going slow over the window and frt. roof. Also done the same with a p/washer .. No leak

try running a fan on exhaust (hi speed) with everything sealed to try to help the test water to get sucked in.

My 05 Safari 30 did the EXACT same thing. The front window did not have enough black sealant around the window frame on the BOTTOM, so when towing in the rain water was pushed up under the window frame. My pillows are on the other side of the wall there with my floorplan and I got wet pillows a couple of times until I found the issue.

Look up from the battery box to the window frame. It would never leak with "gravity", but you add rain and wind that would do it as the wind between the tow vehicle and front of the trailer is like a tornado.

Thanks to Safari SS my problem is over. To day I towed it in the rain and no more leak. Sealin the bottem of the window did it.. Again THANK YOU SAFARI SS
