Door Leak (I think)

I have a leak that manifests itself as a wet spot by the door (toward the front). What is the most likely source of the leak, the door or the window just forward of the door? Any one have insight on this one?

Hi Rodney -- I assume you've had a fair amount of the rain that's been everywhere this weekend. Any wind driven rain? Is your awning stowed or opened?

Take a strip of paper a couple inches wide and close the door on it, trying this all around the perimeter. The paper will be meet resistance to pulling it out if the door gasket is doing its job. Time to look somewhere else if the door gasket is working.

The door gasket could be bad, the door frame could be warped, the door lock striker bolt could be worn out, the window forward of the door could leak, the stove exhaust cover and/or reefer cover could leak, and the furnace could leak.

We had a small leak that was getting the floor under the sofa arm and the carpet under the window and just next to the door wet. I thought it was the window. Had to change the bulb in the outside light and the gasket looked crappy so I replace it - no more leak. The best we could guess is the water was following the wiring back to the door area switch and then dripping to the floor inside the wall.

I've seen photos of your model with no light, an outlet instead of a light and the light in place...? Maybe a possible source to look at even though it seems far from the immediate wet spot. Good Luck...
