I have a 31
Sovereign with two fan powered roof vents that have had dial cranks to open them. When I bought the trailer I could see one was leaking by the stain on the wood paneling. (Working on fixing that now.)
After a heavy rain I saw that there was also a leak coming down the through the flange of the front vent.
I went up top and sealed the back and front vents all around the flanges with caulking and then taped it off and sprayed with clear flexible sealant to cover the screw holes and any unseen possible cracks. It appears the rear vent is sealed but after a heavy rain the front one still shows water stains on the Corian table top.
Any clues where else the water could be coming in and finding its way to the vent and dripping down the out of the flanges?
