black rubber sealant looks like bacon

I am currently rustproofing and sealing the bottom of my 92 Sovereign and I came across this rubber like sealant along the wheelwells that has separated away from the joint it was supposed to seal. Does anyone know what it is and where I could buy some, or a suitable replacement?
Thanks,
dik

If it was not [ultimately] soft & workable, I would say it is dirty Vulkem. If it is still somewhat pliable, I would think it is dirty RV putty (sorry, the EXACT name escapes me).

Airstream does not use currently use Vulkem anymore, they use Sikaflex. If it is pliable, take a sample down to an RV dealer - SOBs apparently use a lot of it.
