Wiring Roof Vent - Revcon

Hi Folks,

Well, I seem to have a problem. While I don't own an Airstream, I do own a 1973 Revcon which is a close cousin.

So, here's my problem. I removed the original roof vent (unpowered) in my coach and tried snaking some wires through to the ceiling light just ahead of it, no luck. There appears to be "bulkheads" surrounding the vent opening preventing me from routing power lines anywhere.

The snake keeps hitting stuff no matter what direction I head. So, if I am able to get a long enough drill bit in there to cut a hole in this, it still leaves the opening raw and un-grommeted.

I'm asking the kind folks here because we both have nearly the same monocoque body. I was hoping that someone here has had a similiar experience.

Thanks and any advice is appreciated.
