well Vinnie

Let me get this straight--YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT the 6" diameter BATHROOM VENT !!! I get that!!

so I have the same vent in my 86. I'm having no problems with it misbehaving, but when I travel I hang my numchucks on the handle. Then again maybe your vent is part dog, it just does it because it can.
so next time I see you we can install some vortex generators in an effort to reduce the reynolds number of the vent top, reduce the drag and give you better mileage too boot.
Seems as even with your rolling parts balanced you have a serious problem with your rig "outgassing" what does it smell like up there?? seeing as you have already used a passenger why not have them stick their snot box next to the vent and go from there.

Gas mileage.. huh..

I think she weighs as one of the heaviest trailers airstream offers.. I think gas mileage is out of the question. However, i could get me some of those numchucks.. Hmm.

I know.. Lets just drink wine

cant wait for the next rally DG...

Toilet jokes are irresistible

If the bathroom one pops up, why doesn't the shower one do the same? It must be noxious gas coming from the toilet, so immediately replace the toilet flapper, eat fewer beans and hang a brick from the vent handle. First solve the gas problem, because if you don't and hang a brick, pressure could build up too much and blow the bathroom out of the roof. It's happened to many Airstreamers after visiting Mexican restaurants, but the company is keeping it secret.

Im not worried about overpressure.. Thats why i have the bathroom vent.. its really just a big popoff valve.

I leave mine open except when airconditioning or with the heat on. That way I get rid of humidity naturally. It never leaks and I even leave it open all winter.
