Ventline Vanair bathroom fan replacement

I found that the motor in my Ventline bathroom fan must have blown a wire off one of the commutator posts so I researched sites for a replacement motor. It looked like $32-35 for the motor alone so I ordered a replacement fan from JC Whitney for $49.95 plus shipping. It took much longer to remove the caulking and older fan than it took to caulk and replace with the new unit. It works like a charm.

Question

Iím wondering if this is the same vent / fan I am looking for. I checked the Ventline web site and could not find the model number (VP). I saw this one on the J C Witney site, but it does not say itís a Ventline. Does this look like the one you found?

That's the one...I replaced mine also...I used some aluminum spray paint that has small alum flakes in it to paint the outside vent cover before installation...looks great!

Thanks. I got lucky to day. While I was looking for a two speed fan for our Range hood, I found the fan blades for the shower vent! I will not have to replace the whole vent! I found them at Out of Doors Mart ODMRV , Out-of-Doors Mart "The longest running Airstream dealership in the world." A great place, check it out.

Vanair Bathroom Fan

I'm a first time Airstream owner and new to this forum. I just purchased a 1994 Airstream 190 Class B unit. The Ventline fan above the tub needs major attention. On the roof the flashing and vent cover are gone. In reading other posts it looks like JW Whitney might carry this fan, but I haven't been able to find it on their website. Does anyone have a part number for this fan assembly?

Thanks for the speedy reply. Hopefully the exterior flashing and vent cap are included or at least available. I'll make some calls on Monday.
