Vent spring

1972 Airstream front top vent. The little squiggly spring that seems to push down the back of the vent has broken. There's one on both sides. Are these called butterfly springs? Where can I get one or a pair

They are called "vent lift spring."

We have them.

I have the springs, but have taken the vent cover apart & can't figure out how they go back together. Does anyone have a picture of their roof vent while opened so I can see how it goes back together? It's the spring that's got me stumped. I should have taken a picture of it before I took it apart!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help flakey me out here!

Here are a couple of photos for you. I had to tear myself away from the word games long enough to take care of this - but that's another thread.

Both of my springs were unsprung on the top but still worked fine - I put one back in place for the photo. I think you'll see what I mean.
