Vent fans

Ok, I know you can buy a replacement motor for the ventline 6in fans. We have two of them and I figured it would be easier to replace the motor than the entire unit? Correct or no?

Also we have three of the other style vents with lights in the trailer. One works great, one is starting to make noise and the third barely spins and sounds like the motor is dieing. Are they the same motors or do you have to buy a complete new unit? I only saw two versions of the same motor depending on age along with parts for both styles of fans. I didn't see any other motors for sale. I know this type of fan is pretty expensive. I would rather replace the vent hood and motors and move on my way then replace entire units if I don't have to.

Matt

I have one fan motor from my 68' that still works fine. My other one only works for a few minutes then stops. I'm not using it any more. If you want it let me know.

Are they the same motors? Seems like that was the same fan and motor for most of the trailers.
