Thumbs up Thumb-up for MaxxAir

Follow up to my original post "What happened to the Solar/Maxx ?"

It is so rare to find a company backing up their products in such a satisfying fashion, that I had to talk about it.

a few years ago, we bought a MaxxAir 2, aka Solar/Maxx 2, and never installed it.
It went out of production, so we were worried there may be a problem with it. We were right, as we learned first from "AyJay" on the Forum: he was told by MaxxAir that they had had problems with the original solar panels. In spite of the fact that he was the 2nd owner, they send him free replacement for everything but the housing.

Well, we contacted MaxxAir too. They asked for the serial #, as only some units had a problem. Ours turned out to be one of those, and they are sending us a solar panel and maybe some other stuff too.

I am usually quick at reporting gripes I have with companies.... or people.

I thought it was a refreshing change to report something nice.
