Parts for the broken front vent

I have a 1994 Excella 1000 and the front vent cover has just disintegrated from sun exposure. I would like to replace the cover and weather seal because the fan still works just fine. Also, if I put in either a Fantastic Vent or a MaxxFan I'll lose the two rows of lights either side of the opening inside. It seems that it would be cheaper to replace the cover and weather stripping and then just cover the whole thing with one of those aerodynamic covers to keep the rain out.

But when I go out on the web, what I find is a vent cover that runs around $70 or more. It doesn't make sense to spend that money on an almost 20 year old system.

Does anyone have a source for the plastic vent cover and weather seals? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree on this one?
