New vents

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone has either A) a good way to restore the old plastic exterior vents for the range hood exhaust and fridge, or B) a good source for replacement metal vents. I wonder if I could have new ones made? Has anyone experience with that route?

Thanks

Globie64.

Metal stove exhaust covers, were made by Zip Dee.

That metal stamping die, bit the dust several years ago.

We recreated the same item, but it is made from fiberglass.

You can see it in our web site, inlandrv.com, in the parts sale section, part #83608.

Thanks for all the help. I had seen the one where the fridge vent is cut down, and I was hoping for a silver bullet, so to speak. That is, one that I could just pop in place. This doesn't seem too onerous, and the existing one just developed a fatal split... looks like this is an upcoming project! I'll contact Inland about the stove vent. I have to say, I find it interesting to know the background, original sources, of these parts.

Thanks!

Peter
