Maxim Skylights

We are going to upgrade our skylights to Maxim skylights based upon this excellent thread.

Can someone post a picture of the gray glazing. The Maxim website has pictures of the bronze glaze but no gray. We are trying to decide between the bronze and gray. For the bathroom hall, we are planning on C-W-C.

Also I noticed that many people have the outer dome clear with the inner dome being glazed. So it's C-X-C. Why is it done that way versus X-C-C.

Thanks for the help.

We've got clear/grey/grey....... in the south protection from the sun reduces heat load a lot.
Maxim's are great. This is the second AS that I've installed them

Have on our 34 for over 2 years... White frame and gray panels. You will love them.

I selected the bronze glazing for my '12 28' Intl CCD. When I got my '15 Classic, I opted for the gray -- and I think the gray is a better color choice....at least for me.

We did clear/clear and have enjoyed the skylights in all parts of the country. No heat gain, and the stars are great.

I ordered a Clear-White-Clear for the bathroom hall and light gray-light gray-clear for the lounge area.

Thanks for the help.
