Maxim Skylight Great Customer Service
I decided to join the Maxim skylight upgrade group and ordered one on 8/27, after a helpful discussion with David.
They told me 10-12 working days but shipped my unit on 9/5. Then Murphy took over. FedEx tracking showed the package in Fort Worth and it never left Fort Worth. On the expected delivery date of 9/10 there was no additional tracking and it did not show up. Discussions with FedEx were useless and still are.
I talked with David the same day and they rushed a new unit into fabrication for me. He called me this morning, Saturday 9/13, to tell me they had completed it and it will go to FedEx on Monday. He will push FedEx to upgrade to express from ground.
I missed a good weather window for the project and am hoping for another window this week. It is wonderful to see a supplier like Maxim display fabulous customer service and even take ownership of a problem they did not create.
