Kitchen hood vent leaks when it rains

Anyone know if the vent rubber gasket is replaceable? Where to buy it? Or, another way to fix the leak?
Thanks in advance.
I posted this in another place, got no answers. So, here is what I did. I removed the outside vent cover, removed the old gasket (6"round). Then I removed all the screws holding the vent in place, lifted the vent assembly, and put Vulcrum between the vent assembly and the airstream exterior, tighened screws. Then I put new gasket material using 5/16" thick 5/8 wide all around the opening. I then adjusted the closed vent so there is no daylight coming thru. It will rain later today, I will update on this fix.

Old thread, but similar question

I took off my kitchen vent to repaint and there is some kind of insulation residue on the AS skin from the original adhesive. It looks like the stuff you put around windows in older homes for added insulation but it's much stronger. It hasn't been leaking so no problem there. Just wondering what would be a good replacement? I have some Gorilla Glue double sided sticky tape. Would that suffice? Alternative?
