Question I want new Fantastic Fans but I dont want to give up the lights.

I want to swap the original vents and fans to fantastic fans but our 72 soveren has 12 volt lights that run on each side of the vents. If I change to the new vents I will loose the lights. I dont mind installing new lights but I cant seem to find any that look good that wont hang to low. Has any one found a good source for lighting? The only thing I find are 12 tube lights that are all white. (they look too sob) I was thinking maybe marine lights? But man are they pricey! Let me know what you have done or have found. Thanks Mike

What I'm going to do is install LED's throughout the length of the ceiling. The lights that I'm using are:

They're not going to be as bright as the originals, but I'll make up for that with spot lighting in key areas. Of course, my ceiling is currently removed so it makes it a little for easier for installation. The good thing about these ones is they are recessed into the ceiling, so low bumping heads with them

Thanks for the reply, Guys. I think I will suggest them to the wife and see what she thinks. I like the ieda of the little spots I think they will look more "modern" But just last spring I replaced the old light covers with new ones. So using the old lights has some cost bennifits as well! Thanks again!!

I plan on using the semi recessed Thin lights like they used on the some of the newer Airstreams. These are mainly to provide bright lighting when needed, the rest of the time we usually depend on table lamps or task lighting. FWIW I am trying to convert as many of my fixtures to FL as possible to reduce drain on the battery when dry camping.
