Hehr vent gasket

hello,

does anyone know of a place that sell gasket for the HEHR vent?

They are out and will not reorder.
Use 1/2 inch foam rubber , available everywhere, as a substitute. I am in the same boat.

You can use the ceiling vent gasket that Airstream has been using since 1967.

Their part# is 365009. It's an open cell foam gasket that has one side with an adhesive backing.

But you have to order from a dealer unless your in Jackson Center.

It comes in 25 foot rolls.

I used the 1/2 inch foam with that peel-off paper on one side just as Melody Ranch recommended. It came from the big box store. I stuck the gasket to the top flange on the opening instead of on the cover. Reach up thru the fan opening, clean the surface with alcohol, and stick it in place. Pull off the old gasket and discard. Then rub the top edge of the gasket liberally with 303 protectant. When the lid has been closed for a while and you open it, it won't stick to the gasket and pull it off.
