Fridge Vent Removal - how?

How do I get the roof vent for the refrigerator off? I've got a major leak in the roof vent hole.

I know I need to punch and drill out the big rivets.

1. What size drill bit should I use?
2. What type of rivets are these?
3. Suggestions for this repair? Upgrades, etc?

thanks

Use a #30 to drill out the "buck" rivets.

Reinstall by using a #21 drill bit for the olympic rivets.

Add a little sealer to the rivet shank, before you insert it into the hole.

What's to repair?

The reefer vent cover is very soft. That dent can easily be pushed out.

Then you don't need any drill bits.

Fridge Chimney

My '75 28' owners manual says to check the chimney is clear. I haven't look from out in only from access door up. I'm worried the cap is not mud dobber proof for next summer.

Fridge works fine now on electric or gas. Any sage advice to avoid future issues or maintain the ammonia plumbing?
