I installed FF's on my Overlander but for the Sovereign I want something better. The FF company customer service was excellent and I hate to bash their product but I don't want the brittle plastic frame and the leaks that can go with it. Granted part of the problem could be the extreme weather we get in Canada but whatever it is I'd rather have an aluminum or even a galvanized frame this time.
I came across this vent and wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it.
Don't believe the part about the galvanized steel not rusting. Paint the base before you install it. I don't know how many galvanized steel vent bases are rusty and nasty looking after 3 years or so.

Every time I head down to California, Arizona, Nevada etc I'm reminded me to move. I'd love to relocate but I'll have to settle for extensive travel down south for a few years...

I think the fan looks rather small. One of the things that makes a Fantastic fantastic is that the fan takes up the entire opening. This moves a great deal of air.
