Fantastic Fan Airstream Trim Bezel - Where to buy?

I just had two Fantastic Fans installed and was told they were not aware of a special "Airstream" trim bezel. Well as soon as I got home I searched the forum and found that there actually is an "Airstream" trim bezel out there somewhere. I've seen it in photos. To help me obtain this part can someone tell me if Fantastic will send it to me or if you have to purchase it aftermarket and if so where do you purchase it?

Thank you,
Joe

Lightbulb Why not

Barkingspider
Since they claimed that they were not aware..but, now should be "informed"..why not push the point with the company who installed the Fantastic Fans?
I'm not speaking from personal experiences but, I've heard it said that, the folks at Fantastic Fan will work with you to resolve product issues. You can find them on the internet..

Good luck~
ciao

Fantastic Fan Airstream Trim Bezel - Where to buy?

Greetings Joe!

I would suggest contacting customer support at Fantastic Vent. They have always been exceptionally helpful in my experience. You can find them on the web at:

Fantastic Vent

I had two Fantastic Vents installed in my '64 Overlander at the 1999 WBCCI International Rally in Dayton, Ohio. They have been one of the best additions to my coach yet. The Fantastic Vent technician who installed my fans used one of the Airstream special trim rings around the front fan (in kitchen area); and used the stock (existing) Airstream trim around the fan in the bathroom area. My Minuet will be treated to a Fantastic Vent at the Lansing International Rally this summer.

I know that there have been several reports of Fantastic Vent providing the Airstream trim to fan owners when advised that an installer was unaware or did not use the correct Airstream trim. It would definitely be worth a try contacting the company.

Good luck with obtaining the needed trim!

Kevin

When I purchased my fantastic fan it didn't have the special airstream bezel. I called the company and about 3 days later UPS delivered the airstream part to my door. NO CHARGE!! They have great customer service.

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I will contact Fantastic Fans after fter the holidays and hopefully they will ship the the trim bezel directly to me.

After I do that I will contact North Dallas RV and let them know these trim pieces are available. It just amazes me that an Airstream Service Center did not know they were available - I was told they always run into this problem and I would have to live with the standard trim piece. Amazing!!!!!

Thanks again,
Joe

Same experience as wayner1239. All it takes is a phone call, and it's on it's way.

When I bought my two Fantastic fans, I specified they were for an Airstream and they came with the Airstream bezel in the box.

The new trim pieces have arrived!

Received my airstream trim bezels a few days ago - free of charge from the factory. Customer service was excellent. Fan installation looks much cleaner now.

Thanks everyone!

Would someone with a 50-60's model w/ a fantastic fan install mind posting a picture inside and out? I have a 50's awaiting restoration and am debating the install. I like original best, but functionality is important too.

Many thanks appreciated!

I don't think that I have any photos of the exterior, but I have photos of both Fantastics that are installed in my 1964 Overlander. The first is of the one that is installed in the Kitchen using the special Airstream bezel:

Great! Thanks for the pics! I really like the install! I was thinking one in the bath area and one in the living area.

I appreciate your efforts!
