Fantastic brings air "in" only

No owners manual from PO. Believe I have the 5000RBT model after checking FF website.

Fan moves in only one direction--what I assume to be direction switch has no effect.

Suggestions?

The plastic inside the switch likely cracked and the spring popped out. Call Fantastic Vent and they will send you new parts free of charge. The vent is guaranteed for life. Same thing happened to me in June and I just called them again because the mounting shrouds have all cracked where they screw in because of the curvature of the ceiling. No questions asked, FV shipped me 2 new shrouds with a curve made especially for older Airstreams free of charge.

a/s only installs FFs with 1way switches, blowing OUT.

IF the ff has a 2 way switch, it (the switch) was installed after purchase.

it is possible someone simply reversed the wiring to blow IN only...

or that the 2way switch is kaputt.

if u don't have the install instructions they are downloadable,

and it might be worth fiddling with.

but i agree call the FF folks and they will make it right.

top notch customer service is what they really provide.

Check with fantastic fan Corp. It probably needs a new switch or
A wire has come off the switch. I'm quite sure there is life time warranty on certain parts. Parts I needed were free of charge.
