Exhaust fan/stove

i suppose everyone knows about the exhaust fan above the cook stove (05 safari ss 25 ft)....well waxing trlr today, up and under the vent cover i found two little locking swing levers locking the free falling flap to close or open if lock levers are in unlock position....please dont laugh at me for not knowing this after several years..

Must be a Minnesota thing. It took us a while to figure it out as well. Boy that fan sure works good when you unlock it and let it open

I forgot to secure the little latches over the door flap once before travel. When I arrived at my destination the door flap was gone. Be sure to secure the flap door before your travel.
