Coleman Mach III AC removal/ vent install

Iíve been carrying around this nice Coleman Mach III (I think it says III) A/C unit since I purchased my í64 Safari in 2004, havenít turned it on expect to yearly test. Excess weight.
Seems we only travel/camp in cool places, and NV/AZ/NM in winter (Snowbirds).
Previous owner had it installed new, in place of mid- ship/forward Hehr roof vent.
How much trouble would it be to remove?
I have the original Hehr vent, or could install fantastic fan etc, but donít know if roof hole is still the original size without pulling unit.
Any experience with install/removal of these units?
