My 1999 Excella's original bathroom vent fan is a Ventline model V2119. A newer model is still available, including the wall switches. Some of the fan's features have been improved. Its model number is V2119-603-00.

When I got up on top to see if my operator had spread out like others had problems with, I found that one of the gears on the lift arm had worn to the point of not making proper contact. There is no way for me to repair that part, so replacing it is my option.

I bought the replacement lift operator from E-Trailer, part number BV0115-04. That part comes with a plastic knob since this operator works on both the manual and electric Ventline fans. The cost was $11.98, including economy shipping.

I installed the BV0115-04 lift operator. Did not use the plastic knob. It is a perfect fit using the original lift motor. No modification required.
