2004 classic dirty skylight?

how do you clean these things ?I dont want to start any leaks but I just cant stand it anymore.

Well, they get yellowed and there is no cleaning them. If you can't stand them, replace with Maxims. They are very nice and made of polycarbonate.

Yep, what Rich said. The factory skylights are complete junk. So yourself a favor and fix the leak before it starts, and as a bonus you get to see thru it again.

I just replaced mine last week. I ordered the original one for $140 versus the $300 Maxim. I am sure that the Maxim is better but considering that my original lasted this long (installed by factory in June '05) as a 2006 model, I am not too bothered about the replacement. The new one is clear- what a difference. Since I have only owned the AS a year and a half, I do not know the degradation rate. I do know that my AS was stored by the original owner outdoors in FL.
