Here is an idea of that it looks like. It's in front of the AC.

If it's square, 14 x 14, then it's a "solar dome".

If it's rectangular, 14 x 26, then it's a "astrodome".

Both are available in milk white or solar gray and both have a thermal barrier.

This thread is a little old, but thought you might like the info. and we could use some advice. We have a 1969 International Overlander. We have original Armstrong TR2I-10 A/C unit mounted in bedroom area of roof. We are very luck to also have the installation instructions and owners maintenance guide. The A/c still works well, even in our Texas summers, it's noisy so we only use it when temp is over 85. The installation manual instructs a 14" x 14" cut through the roof for installation. My husband is a versed DIY said it does have a 14" x14" cut through the roof. Now that being said our TT is an International and most likely was intended to have A/C standard equipped. Now do you have any advice were to look for the drain line for condensation? Do not think was between the wall,as no line is found under the TT. Second we have rain water coming in between the skin traces along the seam lines inside wall over galley counter top sink area and drips around outside flange of galley roof vent and streams when press up on roof around outside edge of flange on front vent. All the roof seams and roof penetrations have been sealed. We thought perhaps wind blowing rain into A/C vents, filling drain pan then spilling over , running down to closest escape. Any advice taken with big Thank you.
