1964 globetrotter in need of modifications to old escape hatch

I don't know what to do about the old escape hatch that was capped off before i bought it. Since they don't make anything that size any more I dont know what or how to modify something in its place. I would like a fan that would be low profile like the vent I have further back. I would greatly appreciate any guidance/recomendations on what products to use and who could construct it for me. i live in Atlanta. Thanks!!!

Are you talking about the rectangular roof vent up front?

If so Vintage Trailer Supply sells reproduction lids, you'd still need to find lifters, they are called Hehr lifters and both used ones (make sure they aren't stuck) or reproductions are available both on ebay and through a number of the vintage trailer sites.
