Windows tough to open on this new 2014 signature 30ft for this newbie

Apologies if this question has been asked before. The window seals on our new airstream must be really good and it's tough to get the windows open every time we go camping. It may be related to higher temperatures (we are in central Texas) as after a day or two we can usually get most of them open. Any ideas on how to make them open easier without causing unwanted leaks? Thank you!

Protectant 303 has been recommended by numerous folks on the forum. Spray some on a rag and wipe the window gaskets. I do that about twice a year and it works (but it does wear off for me and require a reapplication).

It isn't just Texas. Ours are really difficult to open. We sprayed some lubricant on, but after not using them for awhile, back to hard to open. Try sliding a credit card under and run it around the window.

Talcum powder (baby powder) wiped on rubber seals will often make them much less sticky.

303 works well for several years and UV protects.

The Aerospace Protectant 303 is a UV shield that also works very well on these seals. We use it. The latches for these windows are adjustable and sometimes way too tight; I suspect this is also a major factor when they stick, even to the point of some of the seal coming off on the glass. Use the 303, silicon lube also works but not as well.

Must be "humidity" related, our new A/S windows stuck the first time we opened them but now are fine........I like the baby powder idea.

Try spraying the rubber seals and mechanical hardware with aerosol PTFE (Teflon) dry lubricant:
