Window sills (painted or bare aluminum)?

I am trying to figure out how the windows were originally finished. I have seen the sills painted (in my trailer) and bare aluminum on others (Sample).

How did they come from the factoryin the early 60s?

My 65 GT is bare aluminum...except for 1 window that I think they let the kids paint. It has paint all over it and the glass.

Our '64 GlobeTrotter has Zolatone painted window frames. Below is a picture of the window over the stove...most of the brackets are Zolatone as well, just not the one shown.

This also shows the Levelor bracket that we modified to fit in the drapery track without damaging it or making any new holes.
