window removal 1964

How do you remove and reinstall the window glass from a 1964 Airstream?

Not the entire window frame from the trailer body.

Just want to disconnect the opener arm and remove the actual window glass frame at the hinge point across the top in order to install new glass/tinting.

Is it as simple as unlatch and crank open window, disconnect lifting arms, raise widow full open and slide hinge apart? Am I looking at drilling rivets just to replace window glass, or are there tricks to disassembly / reassembly?

Correct.

But there is one screw in the hinge that you must also remove.

Thanks Andy, I was hoping it was relatively easy. I've fallen for that hidden rivet/screw before while taking things apart.

64 window glass holding frame

Andy, you have surprised me in the past with the parts you have. I'm looking for the glass holding frame for the side window on my 64 Globetrotter. Either side will do since all the windows are the same I think windows from 61-65 are the have the same frame, am I right? I'm willing to modify the sheet metal on the curb side and move that window if I have to.
Thanks Wally
