I belive that the windows can be removed quite easily. First remove the knob on the end of the arms that raise and lower the window. Remove the screen. With the windows open you should be able to get to the window to "flip out" by lifting it past horizontial. Do this with care as it will fall out of the top track and you could drop it if you are not prepared.
The windows are hinged with an interlocking c shaped channel. By lifting it way up you are just unlocking the two c channels.
Installation is the reverse.
Prior to re-gasketing my entry door I used a dremel tool with a flapper wheel to get to clean aluminum for good adhesion. Saved hours of work removing old glue and weatherstripping that would just not come off. To remove the gaskets I reccomend a wide thin puttty knife.
