Window Opening Improvement Desired

I'd like to find/design an easier opening mechanism for the large side windows on our 2011 FC23FB. The as-built opening rods that connect to the window pane six inches from the top hinge just don't provide enough leverage for ease of use. My wife has RA-weakened hands and arms, and can't manage to open the windows. Has anyone modified these or found a improved mechanism?
