window name brand..

Does anyone know what the name brand is of the riveted flanged windows that the factory installs in the classic trailers? Or is it a big secret that only the factory knows. I have never heard anyone mention the name brand, only the cheaper Hehr windows.. Thanks..

They are all "Airstream" brand.

They are also only available from Airstream dealers.

I have Herculite glass made by PPG (PPG is a big name in the glass industry in general)...many of the operational components can be found at Blaine Hardware.

Have you considered Airstream. The glass is DOT glass and it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to get the stamp to make that glass. I would think that Airstream designs the frame to fit their need and order custom tempered or bent glass for their needs. They would naturally use whatever parts that might be common supply items to integrate into their design.

Even is they are subcontracting the manufacture it is their design and that manufacture would not have any right to sell to the public and would probably be prohibited by contracts.
