window leak/repair/replace?

Hello everyone, I just joined - my boyfriend has a 1966 Caravel 17" purchased last year - beautiful mint condition. The only problem we have had is moisture somehow entering the front window getting the seat cushion and plywood under it wet. This did happen after a heavy rain last month -we can not detect any break in the window seal or determine how the water is getting in. Assuming that the window or seals have to be replaced, has anyone had experience with this problem; any ideas what to use to repair, thanks much, gwendolyn
