Best I can figure it sits on the exterior of the glass about a half inch, then attaches to the window frame inside. Is the glass only held in with some type of adhesive (vulkem?) or is there supposed to be some type of mechanical retaining bar or trim piece. Are these side pieces easy to come by? If not I guess I can make something close out of some aluminum L stock. Thanks for the help.
The brackets are a simple right angle small piece of aluminum. There is one on each side.
You can use Vulkem to seal it.
