How do I glue a window back into the aluminum top frame on my '68? It fell out!

I think it is an adesive tape that is put ion the edge of the window and then press on the aluminum piece. Check with a local window shop. They may have what you need.

Wouldn't he follow the same installation as the other corning windows? I think it's an adhesive like Dow Silastic RTV-732.

Reinstallation is outlined here:

Husband is suggesting aquarium adhesive for ours...

Thank you Laura. Just a brain fart on my part. I was working off the original window sheet I have here.

Quote:
In all cases, the glass is held in place using a sealant or adhesive bedding tape in the groove of the glass bar. The original sealant used was Dow Silastic RTV-732. It is still available, although other sealants may work as well or better than the original. (For your convenience, we hope to offer an appropriate sealant in the near future, but at this time you should buy a sealant from a local glass shop or hardware store).
But I see the tape mentioned......

I have the back window in my 64 Globetrotter to install. Dug out 200 lbs. of silicone! I'll visit a good glass shop next. I think Andy at InlandRV would be a good source on this subject.

I'd like to hear what you ended up using; how it worked, how much it cost, and a picture of the finished product would be super-fantastic!
