Window Clips '67 Overlander

What are the "steps" to removing old rusted window clips without damaging the glass. I have 16 to remove. They are ALL rusted out :-/

Spray them with WD-40 or some other lubricant, give it a few minutes and very gently work them off. The are just held on by the spring tension. Keep your force in the same plane that the glass is in and you should be OK. On the replacement clips you may have to bent them in just a tad to give you more tension so they won't fall off the glass. Some of mine were loose and some were very tight. I put a small dab of clear silicone on mine along the glass edge to keep them secure after I had several get loose. They can't fall off with the window closed but they can when you release the clamps and crank the window out.

And I think step 3 above was to bleed on it and step 4 curse quietly so as not to offend the airstream gods!
