Will the window fit?

Hi y'all

We had a couple of mishaps when driving our '72 airstream sovereign 31' from NM to ME recently, one of the major ones being that our rear window blew out somewhere in Oklahoma. Somehow, the plastic arm holders cracked (40 year old plastic breaking? Impossible, right?), the hinge came undone, and the latches at the bottom bent to the point where the entire window and frame were just gone from the trailer. Right now, we have a roughly cut piece of plywood covering the back window

We'd like to put in a new window, but ordering one online looks to be in the 500-700 dollar range! We've located the rear window/frame from a 1977 Airstream Sovereign and, before we drop a couple hundred bucks on it, want to be sure it will fit.

Will a 1977 Airstream Sovereign rear window fit in the 1972?

Thanks!
Matt

Goin' for it....

Okay, so we measured the window and the trailer carefully and decided to go for it. Bought the window for 80 bucks, and going to ship it to Maine soon. I'll try to give updates as we work on it....
