Frank I'm so glad they arrived safely. I was so worried that I didn't do a good job with the packaging and they would be damaged.
The packaging material will give you some local reading material for you to peruse. When I first moved here from the big smoke (Toronto) and read the crime report I couldn't help but chuckle. Most occurences were for stolen bicycles or missing things from garden sheds. No drive by shootings, no murders. no armed robberies etc.
BTW what goes clip clop, clip clop. bang, bang, clip clop, clip clop? Awswer: an Amish drive by shooting. Sorry but I love that joke.
Sorry I didn't have time to polish the other one but I knew you needed them ASAP and I thought you would like to see how bad they were before cleaning & polishing.
That's great that the glass is ready. Will you be able to get them prepped, polished and installed for the up coming Memorial day weekend?
Old Airstreams never die. They become organ donors for needy recipients. Now that's Kharma baby.
You are very welcome Frank. I'm really glad I could help. After all that's what streaming is all about. Fun ,friendship and coming together with a helping hand if anyone needs it. It's too bad that sometimes not all of us feel that way.

you have now managed to get the one song destined to drive me crazy stuck in my head. It is also the one ride at Disney I refuse to ride... just for that reason!!

In retaliation -

"Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du

In an mmm bop, they're gone
Plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose
You can plant any one of those
Keep planting to find out which one grows
It's a secret no one knows
It's a secret no one knows
No one knows

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du

Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du bop, Ba du dop
Ba du"

Yes, I am evil!!!

Now back to the regularly scheduled thread....

Took the old windows out and installed the new ones in their place. Everything was buck riveted into place even though it meant taking out interior skins. I am glad to know that the plywood under that section of wall is all sound. I am even gladder that Anna is fixed again.

Chris I raise my glass to you. I owe you more than you can imagine.

Frank I'm so happy for you and your mistress. Treat her right and she'll take care of you as well.
The windows look fantastic, like they always belonged there.
It was a pure stroke of luck that Eileen was willing to be a donor and that I found her at the same time you had your mishap. The second time I went to look at her I would have passed on her if you did not need the windows. Almost like it was destiny or something like that. Weird how the world works.

What a fine thread!

There's nothing quite like jalousie windows for perfectly capturing a breeze.
