Vista View Windows on Non Original Trailer

Thinking of sometime down the line installing some single pane vista view windows curbside on a 72 sovereign 31ft. The trailer we are looking at does not have them currently.

My thoughts;

1.) purchase reproduction windows (including the frames, interior + exterior) from inland or hunt down a parts trailer and take them from it

2.) cut hole

3.) Install & seal

4.) somehow make the interior around it look pretty as well

anybody done this? We really like the idea of the people sleeping up front to be able to see the night sky looking straight up from their pillows. Do the vista view windows installed as stock achieve this goal or is the angle to steep to get a good look from a laying down position? I don't have a trailer in front of me to check or even play pretend (because we are still shopping)
I've googled pictures but just kinda tough to guesstimate.

Would it be that simple or am I missing something here? My rough guesstimate is we could do this for around $500 or less per window.

They certainly can be added. They came in several different sizes, IIRC small, medium and large. The original ones had a cover that slid down over them. I think your ~$500 per unit is reasonable.

The Vista Views really make the interior bright during the day in a good way. Don't forget there are blinds for the windows built in under the ceiling. It will be quite a bit of work but worth it IMHO. I'd vote for using used windows units. Keep in mind the early '70s units have glass which is easier to change out than '75 on. Good luck on this project.
