Smile Vista View (port hole) Windows

My Upper small windows have a severe case of what ever the plastic film is peeling away. Very unsightly. So, I removed the aluminum retaining ring. I looked at all the sealant that had drooped inside. Made a small tool out of 1/16” x 1” x 3” galvanized sheet metal, made a 90º bend 3/8” up. I used this to SLOWLY pry the inner window away from the caulking. Once the seal was broken it took about 5 minutes to work the tool 1’2 way around. The inner window then pulled away freely! Whew!!! The inner plastic cleaned away easily. Now I need to find some new Sealant. What is the best type to use???
