Vintage Airstream window latch TOOL NEEDED

Anyone know what tool is required here to remove the latch?

It's called a clutch head. You can get one from Sears, or most any home improvement or hardware store.

I have also heard them called "figure 8" and "butterfly".

IRWIN Clutch Type Insert Bits

Please let me know if you do not plan to reuse the old screws, I could use them for a project of mine.

I believe 5/32 clutch head screw is a common fastener in many campers/ travel trailers.
