Tinting the windows

I will be taking my 77 Caravanner to get the windows tinted and was a little worryed about the tech using a heat gun during the process, Is there a chance of poping the glass by getting to hot ??? am I overreacting???????

There was no heat gun used when they did our Avion, or our automobiles.

He may use a heat gun to get the front wing windows,can`t see how he would get it warm enough to hurt,unless he catches the film on fire. Dave

i've seen guys use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun, works pretty good

when I had mine done the tech did use a heat gun. the tint came out beatiful. I wouldn't worry about it.
