Thinking of replacing banquette windows on 2013 Flying Cloud FB

We are thinking about replacing the windows on our two banquette windows in our 2013 Flying Cloud FB. The banquette windows open out into the space covered by the awing, limiting our ability to use the space in the shade. Also, when the door is open we cannont open one of the banquette windows blocked by the door. Has anyone replaced the awning windows with sliders? It would save some head bumping, allow the outside air in and also allow better of the space in the shade.
