Thermopane Window

We have a 1983 Airstream that have thermopane windows on the side in the front that have condensation built up abour 2" from the bottom. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a way to drill to let this water out? The glass is tempered. Do we have to replace the whole window? Is there replacement windows available?

No simple fix The windows can be diasembled and cleaned, but it is an involved process that requires removing them from the trailer.

Two holes, drilled at about a 60 degree upward angle that goes between the glass panes, works very well.

After drilling, feed a small solid wire through the sealing gasket, and the water will pour out.

USE CAUTION WHEN DRILLING.

Hit the glass with the spinning drill bit, and you will most likely then need a new window.

It's easy to drill the holes, but takes patience, and depends where you start the holes.

We do it all the time.
