Strange little clip

There are these strange little clips along the bottom edge of almost all of the windows. What the heck are they?
Many of the windows have two each.

I will be replacing all the window gaskets soon and I am wondering if I should hang onto these things.

Thanks
Loris

Do you have a picture of them installed on the window?

I've seen them before, but not on all trailers. I think they are there to keep the window aligned when closed, or when closing the window. It keeps the window centered in the frame, so the gasket seats properly.

That makes sense. I think some of the clips are up the sides of the frames. Maybe the ones on the bottom have just slid there after time.
