Sticky window gasket

[My web connection died, so this is a re-post] I just bought a new 2007 19' Safari SE, and the front inner window pane gets stuck to the window gasket, to the point that I have to get out and use a coin to gently pry the pane loose from the gasket. Any suggestions for a gasket treatment to eliminate the sticking (petroleum jelly, etc?).

This has been talked about for years.

Seems that a light coating of silicone spray once per year can keep the gasket from sticking to the windows.

Maybe do a search under stuck windows....might yield the exact stuff that was used. It's also my understanding that the windows are somewhat adjustable. If that's the case between the two things, you should find a cure....just be careful opening that stuck window.

Silicone,.... spray it on a rag and wipe your widow gaskets with it. No more stuck windows.

Go to World's largest supplier of RV parts, Supplies and Accessories - Camping World and enter 303 Aerospace Protectant in the search field. This is the silicone product you want to use. Use a cloth to wipe it on all gaskets at least yearly. I've found that my Fantastic Fan gasket needs the application a bit more often -- hard to reach with a 6' stepladder but necessary.
