Stack window repair

I have taken the lexan inside pane out and am ready to remove the outer glass pane. The PO used silicone and god knows what else to try and seal the window. The Vulkem has got on the lexan and is very sticky and a mess. What do you use to clean the lexan, or is it better to replace the piece with a new one? Unit is a 1976 31' international. Thank you for any help

If the vulcum has dried someone on here suggested WD-40 leave it on a few minutes and wipe it off. If it's still sticky I have removed it with mineral spirits.

Thank you, worked great. Now to remove the glass, clean it up and install some tint. I think that I will use butyl glazing tape to reinstall the glass. Hopefully it will not "run" as the vulkem did. Then can seal the outside with a thin bead of vulkem.
